Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing worldwide (200,000 house have been built in nearly 100 countries).

Caroline County Habitat for Humanity is one of 2,400 local affiliates. We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing in our county while providing opportunities for home ownership for low income families in dire need of adequate housing.

A partner family is selected based on need for decent housing, their ability to pay a Habitat no interest-no profit mortgage, and their willingness to work with our volunteers helping to build their home (sweat equity).
