The Caroline County Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, homeowner families, supporters, and volunteers met under a canopy, on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The occasion was a ribbon cutting at Lake Creek Court Community in Federalsburg. Prayers of blessing and thanks were given, and it was an opportunity to meet the partner families.

The festivities were held on the poured foundation of one of the first two homes to be built. Board Executive Director Leslie Brome and President Helen Spinnelli did the the ribbon cutting honors.
